With blogging now ultra popular, with hundreds been started every day. There is a big opportunity for most bloggers to earn some money from them. One blog is never gonna make you really rich but if you can possibly earn $20 from 1 blog a week. There is nothing stopping you having 10,100 or even more blogs….
There are 3 very easy and in my opinion most profitable ways to monetize your blog. Adsense,Amazon and Ebay affiliate programs.
Adsense contextual product is obviously the easiest to use and as long as you have content on your blog, related adverts will appear and you WILL earn per click.
Ebays Affiliate program (currently through commision junction but moving to a ebay run program) is superb. You can earn for every new member that signs up and bids and also a small percentage of every winning bid that the person makes after clicking a link from your site/blog for the cookie period.
Amazon Affiliate program. Amazon have some of the best affiliate tools available and offer some great products that convert well for most niches. With amazon you can create single links, contexual products that match your content and even your own Astore.
If you are running a blog or thinking about it, try inserting a few ads to your pages if it pays towards your hosting fees or even a meal out its gotta be worth it. You never know you might become the next adsense guru.
Like most Ebay affiliates i have recieved an email this morning advising that Ebay will now be running there own affiliate program and not Commission Junction. This will have an effect to ALL ebay affiliates especially those using BANS or phpbay.
Will this be good or bad for the affiliate??? I dont know. What i do know is that they are only allowing 1 month for conversion over to their own affiliate system and for those will numerous pages/sites this may be a heck of a lot of work.
I would guess that BANS and PHPbay etc will already be working on the new system to implement the Ebay API feed for affiliates, so there will hopefully not be too much hassle for current ebay affiliates .
As for whether affiliates or Ebay will benefit the most i dont know, but hopefully the newbie affiliate marketeer through to the ebay affiliate guru will all benefit in the long run with $$$ going up.
With the everyday struggle to remain popular on the internet, websites must have a ton of backlinks to it. Without having these backlinks the site will not have a good page rank, which means you’ll be losing out on the effectiveness of search engines. There are many ways to build your backlinks up, too many too list actually but here I will provide you with the three techniques I use to get solid backlinks.
Posting in forums
This is a great way to build up your backlinks, if you remain active enough in forums. Forums give you the ability to network with a wide range of people through signatures. You should add your sites link to all your signatures in the forums you use. You would be very surprised how much traffic you will get from this technique if you’re active in the forums, and if the forum itself is active. Don’t waste your time with inactive forums.
Submitting to directories
There are thousands upon thousands of directories where you can submit your website too. A lot of these will not gain you much traffic, but you never know where traffic can come from so it’s best to add your site to directories from the beginning. Even if it doesn’t build your traffic up any you will be able to build up your backlinks real fast. I’ve seen services advertised where people will submit your site to over 1000 directories for as low as $5, I have tried a couple of these for my site and they work wonders.
Classified Ads
Most people overlook this technique but it has proven to me that it is a serious way to build up your backlinks. It’s especially great if your selling a product because then it can result in good money for you. The classified ads are for the most part not real crowded, so you can have an ad stay on the front page for quite some time in most cases. You should try searching in Google for some of the better sites to place an ad in depending on your niche.
Over the next couple of Months i am going to have a look at alternatives to the Google adsense program.
Today i have a look at AccessoryAds.com , which is 7search.com ’s Contexual feed site.
I have a very very basic poker site http://poker24-7.us bought in the last couple of weeks for a few dollars. I am looking at developing the site over the next 3-4 months then selling it on. I am hoping to cover the cost of the site with the revenue generated from adverts in 3 months then whatever i sell the site for is Pure Profit. Well thats the plan! As this is a personal experiment to generate traffic for the site without any costs involved and also sell the site as is i intend to do no design work to it. Basically make it more Search engine friendly and Manually swapping from selected sites to increase rankings. To generate the traffic.
When i bought the site off a well know webmaster forum it was plastered with adsense ads. So as an experiment i have removed ALL these and added 7search contextual feed. This is as basic (read easy) as adding adsense. I already had a 7search affiliate account so it was as simple as adding poker24-7 as a new Adzone in the accessoryads section, waiting around 24 hours for the site to be approved by 7search then bingo. Simply select the colors required for the the advert , and add the code. The codes are now live on the site poker24-7 All the site needs now is traffic!!
I will be adding new posts to this threadhopefully weekly letting you know on the updates and if the site is generating income and how accessoryads is doing. If Any.
I recently recieved an email from Bidvertiser regarding this new money making opportunity.
As with any new opportunity that comes along i thought its got to be worth a shot.
To get started you obviously have to have a current bidvertiser account. Its a very simple process.
First off login, click add new bidvertiser.
The Click the top tab add new bidvertiser for yor Feed.
Then either choose a new website or if its once that your already have registered with them
For me it was a new Site so simply add the url and the url of your existing feed
The create the name for you new Bidvertiser feed I.E.
http://feeds.bidvertiser.com/NEW FEED NAME
Be sure to write this down.
Next select your language of your site.
Now the important part in my Opinion. Especially with Bidvertiser Choosing your Category and sub-category. This is very important so you make sure the best advertisements for you content are displayed. The closer the match the more clicks!
Next a very simple process of verifying you own the feed. Simply create a quick poost with a verification code in it. Clicking Verify on the Bidvertiser site. Bidvertiser automatically check it and all this is done in less than 2 minutes. Obviously once verified delete the post.
All done.
The advertisements then start appearing in your RSS feed, Simple as that. What i would say is that i am NOT an expert when it comes to these things i usually end up paying someone a few dollars to sort it, but seriously it takes just a few minutes. I cant say how the results will end up but if it generates a few extra bucks its well worth it and i will be adding to some other sites soon.
Any comments or reports on how much your earning through the bidvertiser feed wouls be really great if you could post in the comments. Thanks
Today I started talking about link building and what negative aspects a marketer has to look out for when buying links. This article will introduce some interesting notions that will help you acquire links, only without the risk of suffering the much dreaded Google backlash.
One of the best solutions for acquiring links is to buy reviews or what is commonly known as blog posts. The posts will be presented in the form of a review and generally contain a few links pointing to your site. This option offers many advantages over the normal text links. First since the links are “in text”, Google will not devaluate them seeing has they are considered valuable and relevant. Blog posts also boast two more benefits that make them a much better marketing tool, one they will appear on the front page, which will drive users to your site and second, they are inserted on a blog post which is always indexed by Google. When a post is indexed it can always benefit from Search Engine Traffic. All these benefits are very positive but what makes then an even better deal is that the posts will last for the duration of the site. Once you buy a Post with links they are there forever and this doesn’t happen with other normal links, usually these are deleted after a few months.
These are the benefits.
1 – A written review of your site
2 – Links pointing to your site
3 - Prices are generally very competitive
4 – Links never get deleted
5 – Post can receive search engine traffic
6 – People are more likely to click links on a post/review than on other text links
7 – Google won’t fuzz and retaliate
As you can see, buying a review is a better solution for a link building campaign, the benefits speak for themselves. There are other good alternatives but in my opinion none present such benefits combined with a reasonable price. Many bloggers are more than happy to review a site and often practice very reasonable prices. If you choose to contact bloggers personally prices are sure to be even lower since no middleman is required. With this information conduction a successful marketing campaign has never been so easy, and cheap.
Link building used to be the preferred marketing tool for anyone wanting to promote a site. Prices were good, results appeared reasonable and there were even a wide array of services that helped you get your hands on some good links. All in all things seemed to work out perfectly until Google got fed up with the whole story and started fighting back.
Just to get everyone up-to-date, link building is when a site owner opts to buy, generally high Page Rank links, on other sites for marketing reasons. These links will benefit the site with incoming traffic and higher Page Rank which in turn will permit better Search Engine Placements from Relevant Searches.
Today things have changed mostly thanks to Google and its war on links. Buying a link has become a risky business and many sites have chosen not to sell or buy links since being caught could warrant a rather nasty lesson from Google. Since that Search Engine dominates the search market, suffering any slap on the wrist could mean the death of a site. To make things a little more unpleasant Google has even devalued the power of a normal link, sort of speak, so even pursuing such methods most probably wouldn’t be worth the reward.
Although these negative aspects have crept up on the schema, link building is still necessary and very important for new sites. Google didn’t want to completely ban link building, they just wanted to make it fair and a more transparent process. Link building has a future but the ways to reach the means have changed. Buying bulk links from unknown sites or directories for a few bucks and hopping for good results is a thing of the past, nowadays new techniques have to be utilized and explored.
This is my first article on the link building series. Later on today I will post the second and final article where I will discuss the new safe ways to pursue a successful link building campaign.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to invite every blogger and friends to join my little blog directory. The blog directory isn’t the most spectacular achievement on that internet that will rock your world but it is free and very nice at that. So please don’t wait any longer, fill my little directory with your blogs and remember no spamming.

Microsoft has made a rather interesting announcement stating that they plan to be the second biggest web advertiser in the world. The Redmond Company presented an elaborate 4 step “10, 20, 30, 40″ plan that will underline the strategy needed to become a leader in the growing online advertising industry.
The plan is very ambitious to say the least since it is proposing an increase in the company’s share of internet search, page views, percentage of time spent on the Internet and most importantly, percentage of advertising dollars.
1. 10% of all Internet page views will be on MSN.com and Windows Live email
2. 20% of all time spent online will be at Microsoft website
3. 30% of all Internet searches will be performed on Microsoft/Live
4. 40% of all advertising dollars will be paid to Microsoft
Microsoft has already stated that it will invest anything between $1.5 billion to $1.7 billion this year alone in new data centers and servers. The company’s efforts will find many obstacles and some won’t be that easy to overcome. The plan seems rather ambitious and unrealistic in some part, especially when talking about the 40% advertising market.
Today I’ve decided to discuss a very topic that goes untouched by most internet marketers. Although many people might not know it, creating a successful internet website or blog requires a lot of hard work and perseverance.
Knowing beforehand who your readers are and what information they expect to find when visiting your site is very important. Although generalist blogs or sites do seem better equip to capture a wider audience, this is rarely the case. People are creatures of habits and like to know what to expect. If you can get users to visit your site on a daily basis and be an active part of their routine you have won the first battle in the war to success.
It is for this reason that when stating an online project one should always stick to a specific niche. Diversifying should only come about after a good user base has been established in order for a project to succeed. Building the necessary following can be challenging but at the end it is very rewarding.
This is one of the most important points every internet marketer should take into consideration before starting a site. Find your niche and stick to it, it’s better to be good at one thing than mediocre at a lot.
